Our AHRC funded activities ended in 2017 but this website will remain live, providing access to our research, resources for researchers, readers and writers, the online exhibition, and the archive of our various events and activities.
We’re all currently working on numerous projects which might be of interest to you. These include:
Professor Alice Bell’s work as research consultant on the Digital Fiction Curios project in which she’s collaborating with One-to-One Development Trust’s Dreaming Methods. This is a Virtual Reality curiosity shop containing three ‘endangered’ digital fictions produced in soon-to-be-obsolete Adobe Flash software.
Professor Astrid Ensslin’s work as PI for Writing New Bodies: Critical Co-design for 21st Century Digital-born Bibliotherapy. This project addresses body image concerns by developing a digital fiction for a new, media-enhanced form of bibliotherapy.
Dr Lyle Skain’s creative and critical work with and on digital fiction including a How To Write Digital Fiction series and Wonderbox Publishing, which offers publishing opportunities for digital fiction and digital scholarship.
We’ll keep you posted!
